We open on Peter and Jared going to an apartment and finding blood. It's their friend Robbie's apartment and he tells them that he thinks his roommate, "Freck" is "pranking" him because he's nowhere to be found. Robbie's landlord saw the blood and called the police so Robbie called the guys. But, Robbie isn't worried even though the police are investigating. He then tells the guys that he heard their house burned down and they tell him they're now living in Malibu. Peter isn't sure it's a prank but Robbie is and tells them that "Freck" has courtside tickets to a Clippers game, which he would not miss. A cop then asks Robbie about the last time he saw "Freck" and Robbie tells the cop that "Freck" hasn't been to work for a few days but he still isn't worried. Robbie then offers the guys beers though the cop tells them not to touch anything because the apartment could be a crime scene. Then, the cop comments that Robbie's not worried about "Freck's" whereabouts. The guys then tell the cop about Robbie and "Freck's" long history of "pranking" each other. The cop then asks Robbie if "Freck" had any family he might visit. Robbie replies that "Freck's" mother disowned him and there is his ex-fiancé Nancy, who Robbie is now engaged to. The guys congratulate Robbie on the engagement. The cop then asks Robbie for any contact info on "Freck" as the guys see other cops looking in the trunk of Robbie's car. They find sneakers with blood on them. The guys then tell Robbie not to say another word to the cop.

Shoot to the firm as we see the guys and Robbie on the news saying that Robbie was arrested for "Freck's" murder but is out on bond. They tell Stanton about Robbie's case and need time of the case they were working on him. Stanton says he knows about Robbie's case and tells them that it's Damien's "turn to do foundation work." Stanton then tells Damien that the guys were working with Fresh Slice Bakers on behalf of Stanton's foundation. Damien calls them "gang bangers" but Stanton replies that they are former gang members "who have turned to baking as a way out." Stanton then asks Damien if he's familiar with Brockmore Foods, an organic grocery store. Damien knows the company. Stanton then tells Damien that he'll be handling them while the guys deal with Robbie's case.

Shoot to the guys, Rachel and Robbie talking. Robbie can't understand why he's being charged with murder when there is no body. The guys then tell Robbie that he can still convicted due to the physical evidence like the blood in the apartment and "Freck" not making it to the Clippers game plus motive. "You killed your roommate because you thought he was having sex with your fiancé, stuffed his body in the trunk of your car and buried him in the Angeles forest," Rachel says. Robbie then comments that Rachel is both scary and hot. Rachel then says that she doesn't believe that "Freck" is willing to go into hiding for the rest of his life just because Robbie stole his girlfriend. Peter then proposes that it isn't a prank and that maybe someone else killed "Freck." Robbie then says Nancy wouldn't marry him unless he promised to stop "pranking." Rachel then tells the guys to "highlight 'Freck's' prank history and that he'd do anything to make sure that Nancy didn't marry Robbie, but color inside the lines." The guys make like they didn't hear her say that last part.

Shoot to the guys asking Robbie how he and Nancy got together. He tells them that "Freck" introduced them 10 years after "Freck" broke up with Nancy. The guys then say they need to talk to Nancy. Robbie tells them to go ahead and that he hates what all of this doing to her. They also need to see "'Freck' and Robbie's greatest hits."

Shoot to Nancy showing the guys videos of "Freck" and Robbie's pranks over the years. The guys then ask Nancy why she didn't marry "Freck." She tells them that she had just graduated college and he wanted to settle down and start a family since he didn't have one growing up. She adds that "Freck" was fine when she started dating Robbie but changed when they got engaged. "'Freck' is an emotional compulsive," Nancy tells the guys, which they say is "code for cuckoo." Jared then asks Nancy if there was any chance that Robbie was jealous of her relationship with "Freck" and killed him. Nancy says absolutely not. Peter then tells Nancy that she'll have to testify to that and Nancy says she would be happy to. She then tells the guys that "if 'Freck' is alive, he knows you're Robbie's lawyers and will know your strengths and weaknesses." Jared replies that it's good that they don't have any weaknesses.

Shoot to the beach house as the guys are getting ready for Charlie to come over with her daughter, When they arrive, Tess declines the "Apple slices, juice boxes and 'Winnie the Pooh' on Blu-ray'" that Peter offers her. He then says that he wants her to meet Jared and Pindar. Tess says she know Jared is Peter's law partner. Then, Jared gets a call and steps away. Then, Tess sees a "Boba" action figure on display and Charlie tells Peter and Pindar that Tess is a huge "Star Wars" fan. Pindar thinks they'll get along great. Jared then returns and tells Peter that the "prosecution just added another witness" in Robbie's case. Charlie lets the guys talk about it. Jared then tells Peter that it's Dr. McKinney, "Freck's" therapist, who the cops talked to after "Freck" disappeared. Peter then comments that "a therapist can break privilege if their patient is in imminent danger."

Shoot to the guys telling Robbie that the therapist is going to testify that "'Freck' was afraid for his life and that you threatened him with bodily harm if he even looked at Nancy.'" The guys then ask Robbie if he's "pranking" them. Robbie says that he isn't but he can't speak for "Freck." He then says that "Freck" is "playing the long game" by lying to his therapist. The guys then say they need to keep the therapist from testifying.

Shoot to the guys and the prosecuting attorney, Mr. Kirk, meeting with the judge. Kirk is telling the judge that the therapist's testimony should be admissible. The guys say that "Freck's" next of kin holds the right to waive doctor/patient privilege. The guys mention that his next of kin is his mother, who "Freck" lost touch with 10 years ago and lives in Belgium so they like to know how she was contacted to waive privilege. The judge then says the therapist's testimony will be admissible as soon as "Freck's" mother is found and waives privilege. The guys thank the judge.

Shoot to Stanton and Damien going to the Fresh Slice Bakery processing plant. One of the owners tells them that they can't lose their contract with Brockmore Foods because then they'll be blacklisted. The owner that cites what legal documents could clear up the problem. Damien then asks him if he went to law school. "University of San Quentin. Some guys worked out, I read," the owner replies. Damian then says Brockmore Foods "is claiming you tagged their store in Culver City as a way to endorse your muffins." Another says they're using that as an excuse ex and the "tag must be at least five years old." Then, Damian cites that part of Fresh Slice's deal with Brockmore was that there would be no signs of current gang affiliation. The other owner says that they don't see their gang buddies anymore but Damien says that will be difficult to prove. Stanton and Damien push for a payout deal but the owners insist they want to prove that Fresh Slice is legit.

Shoot to the courtroom as Peter is questioning a victim of one of "Freck's" pranks. Meanwhile, elsewhere, Kirk is being handed an envelope. Jared then tells the judge that Kirk "was just handed an envelope containing pictures of his wife and another man in a compromising position." The guys then tell the judge that they faked the photos and that Kirk is being told they're fake as they speak. Then, Kirk bursts into the courtroom angry at the prank. The judge then holds the guys in contempt. They thank him for proving their point that "people Wilkerson one another even if it means their personal freedom." The guys are then led away in handcuffs.

Shoot to Pindar using a metal detector on the beach looking for “ hidden medical hazards.” Tess finds him and offers to help. She finds a Canadian Loonie, which Pindar says is worth 92 American cents. Tess asks him if she can keep it. Pindar says no at first but then relents and says she can have it.

Shoot to the guys telling Rachel and Stanton about what Pindar saw. They don’t think it’s a good idea to put Pindar on the stand but Rachel disagrees. Jared then suggests that they play “Freck’s” game and “bring the war to him.” Stanton agrees with the guys not to put Pindar on the stand. When the guys leave, Rachel doesn’t look happy that Stanton sided with the guys.

Shoot to Peter and Charlie making out in a car. He offers to walk her home but not before asking how long it was before she introduced Tess to Richie. She replies, “Every situation is different,” which seems to satisfy Peter. Then, they both tell the other how much they like each other but Peter says he wants to go slow because he just got out a relationship. Charlie asks him to define “slow” and they make out some more.

Shoot to the firm as Pindar calls Jared asking him if he got the email he sent him.

Shoot to the guys and Robbie watching surveillance video of Robbie buying a shovel and a tarp. It was anonymously sent to the prosecution, who is saying that Robbie killed “Freck” and buried his body. Robbie says he bought the shovel and tarp to bury a pig because he was planning a birthday luau for Nancy. Then, Nancy arrives and says she didn’t know anything about the luau and Robbie says that’s because he was arrested before he could throw the luau. The guys then tell Robbie that if he still has the shovel and tarp, it could show that he didn’t dispose of “evidence.” Robbie tells them that the shovel and tarp are in his garage but when they all go to look for them, they are gone. Robbie then apologizes to Nancy and insists again that he didn’t kill “Freck.” He then asks her if she still wants to marry him, she apologizes and says she loves him but “didn’t sign up for this.” The guys then suggest that Robbie plead guilty and that he and Nancy have the judge marry them before Robbie is sentenced, which would infuriate “Freck” into revealing himself as alive.

Shoot to the guys offering Kirk a 25-year sentence on Robbie on one condition. That the judge marries Robbie and Nancy before he’s sentenced. Kirk agrees.

Shoot to Pindar sending TMZ info about the courtroom wedding, hoping “Freck” will see it.

Shoot to the guys sitting in on Damien’s meeting with Brockmore Foods. They turn the tables on Brockmore saying they legally qualify as a gang for tagging their own store. They then threaten to take the gang charge to a grand jury, with the idea that it will expose the way the company treats a certain charity. Greg Harrell. Brockmore’s counsel, doesn't think any prosecutor would go for such a silly charge.

Shoot to the courtroom as the wedding starts but Nancy says “I don’t” when the judge asks her if she takes Robbie to be her husband. She apologizes to Robbie, says she still loves “Freck” then runs out of the courtroom. Then, cops take Robbie into custody.

He tells her that he only wanted to break her and Robbie up and that he planned to live in hiding for a few years then resurface. Nancy then slaps “Freck” and calls him a “monster” as the guys appear with cops and have “Freck” arrested.

Shoot to Damien and Stanton meeting with the Fresh Slice owners. They tell them that Brockmore Foods opened a store in the neighborhood of the newly-elected DA, who agreed to investigate them so Brockmore immediately caved and gave Fresh Slice a new contract. The Fresh Slice owners were grateful to Damien, who wanted a picture with them and they obliged.

Shoot to the guys throwing a party that night. When Charlie arrives, she tells Peter that she’s putting her house up for sale because she got a job offer in San Francisco. She then tells Peter that she hasn't decided yet if she's going to take it. Tess then sees Pindar’s collectible “Boba” action figure and wants to play with it since Charlie says she’s a huge Star Wars fan. Pindar doesn’t really want to but lets her as the guys torment him by encouraging her to bury it in the sand.
