Stacy Keibler and George Clooney have ended their two-year relationship. A source says that Keibler ended it because she wants to get married and have children someday, which Clooney has made clear he has no interest in.

"Stacy called it quits. She wants to have children and a family someday. She knows where George stands on that," a source told People. "They talked and they quietly stopped being a couple several weeks ago."

However, there is no bad blood between Clooney, 52, and Keibler, 33. The insider continued, "They talk every day. They were friends before they started dating and they'll be friends after. It was a friendly [breakup]."

The last time the couple was photographed together was in March while Clooney was filming Monuments Men in Berlin.

She recently tweeted a hint she was going through a difficult time. “Trying times are not the times to stop trying." - Ray Owen,” she wrote.

Although People reported Keibler was the one to end the relationship, The Daily Mail reports that Clooney ended it. They reported a source telling the Sunday People, “It's not like George and Stacy couldn't find time to get together if they really wanted to. George is quietly backing away from the relationship. It's always the same. As soon as he feels a woman is getting too close he pulls back.”

Keibler spent Fourth of July in Malibu while Clooney celebrated the holiday with friends in Lake Cuomo.
