John Rzeznik, frontman for the Goo Goo Dolls, has tied the knot!
On Friday, July 26th, Rzeznik married Melina Gallo at Calamigos Ranch in Malibu, California according to US Magazine. This is Rzeznik’s second marriage, his first one ending in divorce in 1997.
"We've been together a while and I'm not going anywhere,” Rzeznik told People Magazine. “And we'd like to start a family. I'd prefer to be married when I have kids.”
The couple, whom have been dating since 2005, were married in front of 120 of their closest friends including Rzeznik’s bandmates. However, Rzeznik and his bandmates did not perform at the wedding.
"We made it perfectly clear that I would not be singing at all at our wedding. Our song was Adele's 'Make You Feel My Love.' I love her version of that song," Rzeznik said.
Gallo was donned in a Enzoani gown and opposite her Rzeznik opted for a dark green suit rather than the traditional tuxedo.
Rzeznik is currently on tour for the Goo Goo Dolls’ tenth album titled Magnetic which will run through October. The couple plans on having their honeymoon in Italy and France once the tour wraps up.
