Watch out Leslie Knope, cause Heidi Klum is coming to knock you off the runway! (Whichever runway Leslie Knope may be on.)
The supermodel, Project Runway host, and America’s Got Talent judge will be appearing in the hour-long season premiere of hit NBC sitcom, Parks and Recreation.
The news was first reported by Entertainment Weekly, where they also divulged information about the premiere and Klum’s role. The Parks crew will be skipping across the pond to London so Leslie (Amy Poehler) can collect a “Women in Government” award from an international organization. At the event, she encounters Klum, a mayor of a small town in Denmark.
Executive producer Michael Schur says, “Her town completely worships her in a way that makes Leslie a little jealous, considering that Leslie is undergoing a recall vote in Pawnee.”
We can’t wait to find out how Leslie reacts to the poised Klum.
Among Klum, Henry Winkler will also be appearing in the season premiere as Jean-Ralphio’s father, while Kristen Bell is also set to guest star in a later October episode.
Parks and Recreation will air the hour-long sixth season premiere on Thursday, Sept. 26 on NBC.
