It’s the year 2038 and Ted Mosby’s children from How I Met Your Mother are giving their father a piece of THEIR minds this time. In a hilarious new clip at Comic-Con promoting the upcoming final season of How I Met Your Mother, Lyndsy Fonseca and David Henrie who play Ted Mosby’s children, strike back noting the lengthy amount of time it has taken their father (voiced by Bob Saget) to tell the story about how he met their mother.

The series, which focus’ on Ted’s (Josh Radnor) journey of meeting the woman of his dreams, retelling the story to his children, was poked fun at Saturday as HIMYM panel was introduced, Cinema Blend reports.

Sitting on the couch as per usual, the show kicks off with Saget recalling a moment when he was eating yogurt only to be interrupted by his future son and daughter who go off on a tanget of things they are unaware of because of being sheltered for the last eight years.

“I missed college! I know all the lyrics to Let’s Go to the Mall, but I don’t know who the f*cking president is!” Future Fonseca shouts as quoted by Uproxx. “The only girl I’ve seen in the past 8 years is my sister — and it’s starting to make me think stuff…bad stuff,” Henrie adds. The kids, still unaware of how their father met their mother but are aware of all of“the sluts you’ve banged."Saget asks if they really want him to wrap it up. Fonseca shouts, “F*ckin’ A!
Season nine will take place of Barney (Neil Patrick Harris) and Robin (Cobie Smolders) wedding. The season eight finale finally showed fans the much talked about mother, played by 27-year-old Broadway star Cristin Milioti.

This season promises to bring back some of How I Met Your Mother favorites, although the panel would not specifiy.
