John Travolta will be guest starring on Kirstie Alley's new upcoming TV Land sitcom, Kirstie.
The network announced the reunion on Tuesday. Yahoo reports that Alley plays Broadway star Maddie Banks whose son she gave up for adoption, played by Eric Petersen, re-enters her life. Travolta will play a stagehand on Maddie's show, who gets attached after a one-night-stand. The episode will shoot early next month.
Travolta said to Deadline, “I’m excited about working with Kirstie again, in addition to such terrific talent on the show. It’s always a treat to be surrounded by people you respect so much both personally and professionally.”
The longtime friends worked together on 1989's 'Look Who's Talking' and its sequels.
TVGuide reports that TV Land announced that the comedy series' other guest stars include Jason Alexander, Kristin Chenoweth, Kristen Johnston and Cloris Leachman.
Kirstie premieres Wednesday, Dec. 4 on TV Land.
