Johnny Depp says that quitting acting might not be too far from the present.

In a recent interview with BBC, Depp announced that his role in The Lone Ranger is probably one of the last few films he’ll act in.

This isn’t the first time the Pirates of the Caribbean star spoke about retirement. In an interview with Rolling Stone in late June of this year, Depp said,

"I'm kicking 50 right up the a**,” he says about his age. "I can't say that I'd want to be doing this for another 10 years." He goes on to say, "I think while I've got the opportunity and the desire and the creative spark to do the things that I can do right now, I should do them,” suggesting that, while he has plans for retirement, he is still ready to take on more roles.

Depp has been a household name since is role on the original 21 Jump Street. He went on to surprise the nation with his role in What’s Eating Gilbert Grape, Edward Scissorhands and climbing to the peak of his fame with the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise.
