Josh Duhamel might’ve revealed his unborn baby with wife Fergie’s gender, but he will not be revealing the name they chose until his birth.
But it’s not just “sacred” to the public, they’re not even telling family members about the name. At a Pepsi event in Los Angeles, the Transformers star said “Some people may not like it, some people may think it’s really cool, but we don’t really care — that’s why we’re not telling anybody.
“We’re not even telling [Fergie's] mom because we don’t want to hear anything about it. That way you don’t feel like you’re second-guessing yourself. It’s between us — it’s a sacred thing,” he told People.
He said they wanted a name that’s a mix of traditional and goes along with Fergie’s “rock star” attitude.
“The name is] kind of traditional, kind of not,” he explained. “My wife is a little rock and roll, so she’s a little bit more daring in that department than I am. We decided on a name that we both really love and I think will suit this child.”
Duhamel did reveal they were having a boy during LIVE with Kelly and Michael’s Du or Don’t, Part II: Baby Edition segment.
