Rapper Lil Twist, Justin Bieber’s 20-year-old partner in crime, was arrested on Thursday under the suspicion of driving under the influence.
The rapper, whose real name is Christopher Moore, was stopped in California behind the wheel of one of the Bieb’s luxury sports cars, a chrome 2012 Fisker Karma USA Today reported. He was pulled over a little before 3:30 a.m. on a Calabasas road leading to the gated community where Bieber lives.
The rapper was driving nearly 70 mph, over 30 miles above the street’s designated speed limit and ran a red light in a construction zone. “He was stopped and he was arrested for driving under the influence of marijuana,” Steve Whitmore, a spokesman for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department told The Los Angeles Times.
Twist, who is signed to Lil Wayne’s Young Money Entertainment label, was taken in for booking while the Fisker was towed and impounded. Bail was set at $5,000 for the misdemeanor offense.

This is not the first time Bieber and his entourage have disrupted the Calabasas community. Residents say Bieber ignores posted speed limits, homeowner association laws and pretty much all the rules of life in the gated community. Neighbors say he and a motley crew of twenty something young adults race motorbikes and throw raucous parties.
