Police are investigating yesterday’s fight at LAX which involved hot-headed rapper Kanye West and a persistent photog.
West lost his cool a week after telling paparazzo not to talk to him. This time as a paparazzo followed him he was recorded lunging at the cameraman and photos show him punching the photog with ambulance forced to arrive at the scene.
LAX police confirm to E! News that there was an altercation but would not confirm if West was involved. According to police, West fled the scene before police arrived.
According to LA Times, police have launched an investigation against West for battery and robbery.
USA Today quotes the confrontation recorded by TMZ’s cameraman.
“What's going on, man? ... You're a cool guy. ... Why can't we talk to you,” the cameraman questions. "Kanye, c'mon. I don't want to fight with you," he continues as West walks toward him clearly annoyed. "Dude, seriously. I don't want to fight with you."
West states, "You're trying to get me in trouble ... so I'll have to pay you, like, $250,000."
