Looks like on-again, off-again couple Katy Perry and John Mayer are on again. The duo spent Fourth of July together and the “Firework” singer posted a picture of them together on Instagram.
“Whose broad stripes & bright stars?!” she captioned the photo of them wearing their American flag-inspired gear.
Perry spent the day with her boyfriend in Philadelphia, where he was performing at the Philly 4th of July Jam Concert.
According to Just Jared, there were rumors they would be ringing in the holiday in the Hamptons, but they weren’t true.
Sources tell Life & Style about their rocky relationship, “She said it will only work if he follows some of her rules.”
The insider claims the rules are, “Getting rid of his old girlfriends’ numbers and no more texting them!” and “Katy wants more dinners and date nights, and for him to be more romantic with her.”
Perry, 28, and Mayer, 35, have broken up at least twice in less than a year.
