Former Destiny’s Child member Kelly Rowland was rescued Friday after a fun day at sea went wrong.
According to E! News, Rowland along with a group of friends set sea to go whale watching, but their private boat quickly became “disoriented in the five-to-six-foot waves and fog that had rolled in,” an employee from TowboatUS Provincetown explained.
“The US Coast Guard was able to triangulate their position," the employee adds.
The Associated Press reports that the boat was found 33 miles north of Provicetown.
TowBoat U.S. Provicetown posted photos on their Facebook from the storm along with the note that everyone on board was “great. Just a little shook up.”
E! reports that the group was stranded out at sea for roughly 12 hours. They arrived back on land at 10p.m., “tired and thankful.”
Rowland did not address the scary adventure, but rather posted a series of photos from shops and restaurants she enjoyed throughout her trip.
