One of the big hits at this year’s 2013 Comic Con, located in San Diego, was the Kick Ass 2 panel, surrounded by fans clad in green wetsuits and Hit Girl costumes.

At the panel, the castmates (which includes Aaron Johnson and Christopher Mintz-Plasse) spoke about how true the movie was going to stay to the comic and what parts the audience and faithful fans could expect NOT to see in the movie. MTV reported that a few of the cut scenes involved a rape scene and several other violent scenes that were portrayed in the comics. The movie is still set to be R-rated, but they decided that a few things were just too “out of bounds.” The sequel to the hilarious first installment is about, as Johnson describes it, “Kick-Ass discovering Dave.”

But getting to hear from the actors wasn’t the most exciting thing to happen with the Kick Ass 2 entourage. According to The Hollywood Gossip, professional stuntmen from the movie which included Amos Carver, Gregg Sergeant and Scot Schecter were setting up a scaffolding for a Kick Ass 2 promotional party when they saw a woman step over the ledge of a balcony of an apartment complex that was near the scaffolding. The stuntmen scaled a fence and, with permission from the apartment complex’s manager, got inside and got the woman to safety.

"She was hanging on with one hand, and had one foot off the ledge,” Carver said of the woman who was upset about a recent breakup.

“She was ready to go” Sergeant added.

Talk about real-life superheroes. Kick Ass 2 hits theaters August 16th.
