Kobe Bryant and his parents have been in disagreement on his memorabilia of late, and after Kobe settled to allow his parents to sell some of his memorabilia, they made over $470 thousand.
Bryant gave a replica of his 2000 championship ring to his mom, Pam, as a gift, and she planned to sell it at auction, prompting Kobe to take his mother to court. Pam claimed that Kobe said he didn't care about the stuff anymore and that Pam and Joe (Kobe's father) could do whatever they wanted with it according to Yahoo Sports.
In court things got pretty ugly according to Balloverall and a settlement was eventually reached which allowed some of his memorabilia to be sold at auction. This auction would have 50 percent of the earnings go to charity.
The big ticket items in the auction were the 2000 championship ring he gifted to his father, a smaller version of that ring for his mother, a 2000 all-star game ring, and two game worn high school uniforms.
Those items alone brought in just under $430 thousand, but they weren't the only items up for auction. When added with the other small items at auction the total income was just under $480 thousand with half of that being given to a charity that is unknown at this time.
