The accusations keep flying between former friends Kirstie Alley and Leah Remini after Ms. Remini left the Church of Scientology earlier this month.
Now it’s Leah’s sister Nicole Remini-Wiskow who has joined the feud. According to a report by Radar Online, she has insisted that Kirstie Alley’s pleas to the contrary are just lip service, telling the website ““Kirstie has not reached out to Leah at all… Everything that’s being tweeted is insanity.”
As we reported earlier this week, the supposed feud started when, shortly after news broke about Leah Remini’s split from the Church, Alley took to Twitter to express her feelings of betrayal by a friend. Scientologist journalist Tony Ortega released a report that after the news broke, Alley worked the phones and even held a secret meeting with church officials questioning what they would do about the defection.
Various news outlets, including The NY Daily News, reported that Ortega went on to suggest that tweets Alley sent that week were veiled attacks at Remini.
She later insisted that the tweets did not refer to Ms. Remini. We reported yesterday that Ms. Alley refuted those reports, insisting that she respects the religion of freedoms of everyone.
lying news outlets. I do NOT care what religion ANYONE is or isn't. I respect religions & would fight for your freedom as well as mine.
