Lindsay Lohan will sit down with Oprah Winfrey for an in-depth interview after she completes her court-ordered rehab.
The interview will be filmed after Lohan completes her rehab program on July 31 and air in August. Lohan will also be filming an eight-part documentary series that will follow the star as she rebuilds her career and stays healthy. According to E!news the series will air in 2014 on Winfrey’s network, OWN.
The 27-year-old is currently completing a 90-day rehab program as part of her plea deal for misdemeanor charges related to a June 2012 car accident. Entertainmentweekly reports that Lohan will make her first post-rehab appearance at the premiere of her movie The Canyons at the Venice Film Festival.
Winfrey has interviewed numerous celebrities on her program Oprah’s Next Chapter including Whitney Houston’s family after the singer’s death, Rihanna with her relationship with Chris Brown and Lance Armstrong, where he admitted to doping. Ratings for Winfrey’s network have benefited, up 32 percent from the first quarter.
