Lindsay Lohan is allowed to leave rehab on Wednesday (July 31st), but instead has chosen to stay an extra 3-4 days.

According to Perez Hilton, the Mean Girls star said she needed a “transition period” from rehab to real life. A source close to the fiery redhead said,

"It's like invasion of the body snatchers. She's a different person."

Hopefully that means that Lohan is officially done with drugs.

It was also reported that after she’s officially released from rehab, Lohan will be embarking on her own personal Eurotrip in hopes that she’ll get some privacy while settling back into “the real world.” Lohan plans on starting in England and travelling Europe from there. The trip was a gift from a close gal pal of Lohan’s for a “job well done” in the 90-day-court-ordered-rehab session. Lohan obtained the order after pleading no contest to charges of reckless driving and lying to a police officer. She asked for a rehab sentence in replacement for the eight month jail time she otherwise would have gotten.
