Lindsey Vonn is opening up about her relationship with Tiger Woods, saying that there was an immediate connection between the two.
Vonn, who was previously married to Thomas Vonn for four years, said that their relationship started off as a friendship and it led to a romantic connection from there.
“We immediately clicked, you know? It was just one of those things," she told Vogue. "We talked a lot, corresponded a lot, and he was a good friend who was always there. And then it became more.”
Comparing her relationship with Woods to the one she had with her ex-husband, she said “It’s amazing. Life changes very quickly, in a very positive way, if you let it. I am a little bit of a late bloomer. I’m delayed. Having a delayed reaction here! But I figured it out,” Fox News reports.
Woods was famously married to Elin Nordegren until 2010 when a string of women came out to say he had extramarital affairs. “Tiger’s fame is obviously in the extreme, the amount of scrutiny that he’s constantly under,” she said. “But that’s the thing: It all comes back to being happy. It doesn’t really matter what anyone else thinks; do what you love to do and be happy and that’s it.”
