A report published in the U.K. on Saturday claims that FBI files show that Michael Jackson spent over $35 million in his lifetime to cover up child molestation.
The Sunday People claims that it obtained secret FBI files thats how that the late King of Pop spent £23 million (over $35 million) to keep nearly two dozen boys he abused during a 15 year period quiet. These documents were known as CADCE MJ-02463 and CR 01046 and the paper claims that they were not given to prosecutors when Jackson was tried and acquitted of child molestation charges in 2005.
According to the documents, one of Jackson’s staffers saw him abusing a famous child star, watching pornography with another boy and fondling another in his private theater. Apparently, the third boy’s mother was sitting only a few rows in front of Jackson and her son while the signer was abusing her boy.
According to the New York Daily News, the documents are part of an investigation Jackson launched himself in 1989 when he hired private eye Anthony Pellicano. Pellicano is now in jail and the FBI seized his files, which are the ones that the Sunday People obtained.
“I was hired by him to find out where the fires needed putting out and, in this case, where allegations would be coming from,” an unnamed detective who worked for Pellicano told the Sunday People. “But I have never worked on a case with as many potential claimants as the Jackson case.”
Most of the $35 million went to the family of Jordan Chandler, who was 13-years-old when Jackson became his friend. The singer reached a $20 million settlement with the family.
“Our reports painted the picture that Jackson was a serial child predator,” the unnamed Pellicano associate said.
This is the latest incident to bring back Jackson’s alleged child molestation history to the media again. Wade Robson recently went public with his claims of abuse, even though he had previously defended Jackson.
