Michael Pollack is an American pianist, singer and songwriter who grew up on the North Shore of Long Island, New York. After his performance with Billie Joel earlier this year Pollack received national attention.
Today it was announced that Pollack will join X-Factor. finalist Carly Rose Sonenclar as the opening act for her August 10th performance at Manhattan's Best Buy Theater.
Fourteen-year-old Sonenclar is an American singer, songwriter, and teen actress that became the nations favorite upcoming artists after her powerhouse performance on X-Factor. Sonenclar is also known for her roles on Broadway as well, she starred as young Cosette in Les Miserables. She has won the hearts and ears across the nation with her soulful pop sound and good girl image.
Pollack is ecstatic about joining Sonenclar according to FreePressIndex he said, “I am thrilled for the opportunity to open up for Carly Rose. Following everything that happened since the Billy Joel performance, this is a great opportunity for me to showcase my new original material and help reach more fans with my music.”
Sonenclar is excited as well that Pollack will be joining her. She said, "I am so excited to have Michael Pollack opening my Best Buy show. He is such a talented artist and an amazing pianist...I can't wait!”
In addition to performing with Sonenclar, Pollack is hard at work with working on his EP that is due out this fall.
