Michelle Williams is the newest face of Louis Vuitton and the first advertisement has been released, which was shot by Peter Lindbergh.
Williams poses with her now trademark short blonde hair, holding a “W” handbag. Her hair was done by Sam McKnight and the makeup was done by Stéphane Marais.
In a statement, Louis Vuitton said “Michelle Williams was selected by Louis Vuitton for her independent spirit with which she has forged her path through Hollywood, defined by her outstanding talent, her passion for her craft, and her choice of daring and challenging roles.”
People reports Williams had a prior relationship with the brand, wearing one of their gowns to the Oscars last year.
The pictures will be seen in the September advertisements, while a different show, featuring Williams carrying the brand’s “Capucines” bag will make its debut this October.
