Fans of Miley Cyrus eagerly awaiting her new album can look forward to an exclusive behind-the-scenes peak at its creation in an hour-long documentary that will premiere this fall on MTV.
MTV News and Docs team, who provided fans with similar glimpses into the lives of Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj, Britney Spears, and Demi Lovato, filmed the documentary special. MTV reports that while the documentary will mainly focus on the production of Cyrus’ album, it will also chronicle the “We Can’t Stop” singer’s physical transformation into the fashion risk-taker of today.
"Like the song says, we can love who we want. I'm really free about the way I feel and who I am," the 20-year-old explained of the single in June. "Of course, I want people to love my music, but it's like, at the end of the day I make music for me. I make music 'cause I love it and I know, like I said, I put good energy into it. I want to make this song the biggest song in the world."
The Hollywood Reporter states that along with the addition of Cyrus’ special, MTV has decided to renew Ke$ha’s six-part series My Crazy Beautiful Life .
