It was a jam-packed Sunday on Princessses: Long Island as the girls went to new heights in order to find the perfect Jewish husband: speed dating. The idea to hit up “Hurry Date,” an all-Jewish speed-dating program, was that of cast member Chanel Omari’s. However, this week Chanel was dealing with some issues of her own. At 27-years-old Chanel describes herself as “boyfriendless and husbandless” which according to her, is a no-go in the Orthodox-Jewish community. To make matters worse Chanel’s younger sister Ashley is already getting married, making it even more crucial for Chanel to find Mr. Right and settle down. During the episode, Ashley asked Chanel to try on a wedding dress just for fun—but it nearly brought their mother to tears. While Chanel explained that her sister isn’t exactly a Bridezilla, she felt it was quite a Bridezilla move to make her put on a wedding dress in front of their mother. Chanel begins to emotionally breakdown throughout this episode as the stress of finding a husband intensifies during her sisters wedding preparation.

Chanel felt too overwhelmed and stressed to pull through at speed-dating, leaving cast members Joey Lauren, Ashlee White, and Casey Cohen on their own to scope out some Jewish bachelor’s. During this episode, not only did Ashlee learn how difficult it is to be single, but she also learned that she isn’t too fond of her fellow cast mate Joey. Embarrassed by Joey’s behavior at the speed-dating event, Ashlee came to the conclusion that she “doesn’t want anything to do with Joey.” Although Joey and Casey didn’t find any prospects that night, Ashlee found someone who she thought might be husband material. However, Ashlee soon discovered that his constant high-pitched laugh was way too much for her to handle and her husband search must continue.

Although Joey didn’t find a husband at the speed-dating event either, her fellow cast mate Erica Gimbel decided to hit up the South Shore afterwards in hopes of helping Joey find a man. Erica, who is in a relationship, has been the center of attention throughout the season for her partying and high school feud with fellow cast mate Casey. During this episode however, Erica stayed out of the arguing and the attention shifted to Ashlee, Joey, and Chanel.

The episode came to a dramatic close at the Drink Hanky launch party at Aura Salon in Great Neck, N.Y. Cast member Amanda Bertoncini, creator of the stylish eco-friendly drink sleeve known as the Drink Hanky, tends to stay out of the drama. However, she couldn’t help but be put right in the middle of it as fights continuously exploded at her fancy all-white launch party. Chanel got into a heated feud with a party attendee who threw ice and a drink at her, while Ashlee and Joey bickered back and fourth over their points of contention.

Next week we’ll see how the drama unravels…and how Amanda’s family reacts to her desire to marry Long Island beau Jeff Hoffman.
