It was an episode full of conflict and confrontation on Princesses: Long Island this week. Joey confronted Ashley, Amanda confronted Babs, and Chanel finally came to terms with the fact that she is 27 and single. Ironically, these efforts didn’t seem to resolve any issues-- it heated up arguments and sparked up even more drama between the princesses.

After the explosion at last weeks Drink Hanky launch party, Joey confided in Amanda and Erica how terrible Ashlee made her feel by calling her a bad person. Amanda and Erica revealed that Ashlee had also had been advising them both to ditch Joey as a friend. Joey decided the only way to make the drama stop was to confront Ashlee face-to-face-- but it ended up making matters worse. In between their bickering, Joey called Ashlee “funny looking” which outraged Ashlee so much that she walked out on their conversation. Looks like those two will not be repairing their friendship anytime soon!

Chanel decided to take care of her issues in a more peaceful setting by visiting her Rabbi. Chanel vented to Rabbi Cohen about the pressures her family has put on her to get married. Rabbi Cohen reinforced to Chanel that the right guy will come along someday. Feeling optimistic about their chat, Chanel decided to go on a date with her soon to be brother-in-law’s best man, Nati. Although Nati appeared to be husband material, there didn’t seem to be many sparks flying on their date at an Israeli restaurant in Brooklyn.

Unlike Chanel, Erica has confessed several times on the show that she’s not too sure how she feels about settling down…but her steady boyfriend Rob has been pushing for the two of them to take the next step and move in together. Surprisingly, Erica agreed to give the idea a shot and checked out some mansions for the day with Rob. Her reasoning-- “If it comes with a swimming pool I might be willing to roll the dice.”

This leaves Amanda as the only princess with a clear idea of what she wants at the moment. Even though Amanda has only been with her boyfriend Jeff for 6 months, she’s ready to get married and settle down. During this episode, Amanda and Jeff met up with Jeff’s parents for some kosher lunch and talked about their plans to tie the knot. Jeff’s parents seemed excited, but when Amanda confronted her own mother AKA Babs about their plans, she didn’t get the same reaction. Babs feels her daughter Amanda needs more time to get to know Jeff and work on her business before planning a wedding.

So in the end…it was a lot of conflict, but not much resolving. It’s the effort that counts though, right?
