What better way to start off a brand new episode of Princesses: Long Island than a good old-fashioned sleepover? Ashlee didn’t want to spend a night away from her parents, so she invited over Amanda and Chanel for a big-girl slumber party while her mom and dad were away. Amanda and Chanel thought they were in for some wine and girl-talk, but Ashlee confronted Amanda about getting in the middle of her feud with Joey. It blew over quickly once Amanda explained that she didn’t have the heart to lie to Joey, but Ashlee later revealed in her confessional that she wouldn’t be trusting Amanda again anytime soon.

Joey sat down for breakfast with her father to talk about progress with her new brand Kissamint. Their relationship has always been complicated—no matter how hard Joey tries, her father is never satisfied. To make matters worse, she’s moved back into his home to save some cash for Kissamint. Frustrated with the slow progress of her new business, Joey’s father gave his daughter a 90-day deadline to launch Kissamint, find a new place, and move out. With her new deadline quickly approaching, Joey brought Amanda with her to check out some affordable apartments on Long Island. Unfortunately, the trip was less than a success—Amanda felt like she was in a horror movie and Joey felt like her life was over. Amanda assured Joey that they would find someplace better for her to live and get her out of her father’s house in time.

Erica decided it was finally time to break the news to her parents that she was looking for a house with Rob. Although Erica has confessed several times on the show that she doesn’t feel ready to settle down, she’s willing to take a leap of faith with Rob and see what happens. Although her parents are supportive of their relationship, they weren’t too keen on the idea of moving in without a solid commitment. To Erica’s bewilderment, Rob assured her parents that they would see an engagement in the near future. Erica might’ve just got herself into something way more serious than she had ever hoped for!

Amanda decided to play matchmaker and set up Ashlee with 51-year-old Marcos, a Latin Jewish boy from Venezuela who she met with her mom at karaoke night. At first, Ashlee and Marcos really seemed to hit it off. However, it didn’t take long for Ashlee to realize that Marcos was way too aggressive, and not to mention-- trying to get his hands on every older woman in sight! Sorry Ash, we all had our fingers crossed for you on this one!

Thankfully, there was some good news that came with this episode-- Chanel survived her little sisters wedding! Chanel has been struggling emotionally with Ashley’s engagement since episode 1. She’s happy for Ashley, but it’s put more pressure on Chanel to get married soon too. In the end, with a little help from Casey, Chanel was able to put a smile on and nail a speech in front of over 400 people. As Ashlee so eloquently explained, “Today Chanel is a Jewish goddess. She’s like Barbra Streisand, Natalie Portman, and The Nanny all rolled into one.” Couldn’t of said it any better, Ashlee--- you go Coco!
