When Lindsay Lohan completes her rehab stint at Cliffside Malibu, she will reportedly be moving in with her mother Dina Lohan but new reports suggest that her counselors at the treatment facility are urging her not to.
Because of her excellent progress so far, counselors want her to continue treatment. She didn’t do her entire court-mandated 30 days at Cliffside, she started off at Betty Ford.
“The treatment team wants Lindsay to stay for at least another 30 days, because she didn’t do her entire 90 days at Cliffside,” a source told RadarOnline. “Someone with her addition and psychiatric issues needs extensive treatment and 90 days just isn’t enough. She is in a really good place right now, but her doctors want that to continue.”
According to The Huffington Post, sources say Lohan has been told living with her mom “could jeopardize her sobriety.”
The premiere of her film The Canyons is in Venice, Italy in the beginning of August, which Lohan is adamant about attending.
“She has assured the doctors that she will continue to go to AA/NA meetings and work the 12 steps,” said a source.
