Iron Man actor Robert Downey Jr. tops Forbes list of the highest paid actors in Hollywood.
Downey Jr. brings in an estimated $75 million from June 2012-June 2013 following his action packed roles as Tony Stark in both Iron Man and The Avengers, Fox News reports.
According to Forbes, Downey Jr.’s success as Stark brought in such huge numbers for the film, the actor raked in more than the film’s director Joss Whdeon.
Also on the list is Magic Mike actor Channing Tatum, raking in $60 million, Les Miserables’ own Hugh Jackman, who brought in an estimated $55 million. Mark Wahlberg, who starred in the hilariously crude Ted took fourth place on the list, followed by “The Rock,” who snatched up the fifth spot.
In order to compile the list, Forbes spoke with agents, producers and others who are familiar with the industry to make up an estimated earnings.
Downey Jr. sailed on the highest paid actors list, but came in 20th on the Hot 100 list, which is based on both earnings and fame; Oprah Winfrey topped that list.
