SyFy will be rerunning SharkNado this week, but if you are already tired of the idea of sharks and tornadoes, you should be happy to know that the network has a new cheesy shark movie on the way - Ghost Shark.

A trailer for what can loosely be termed a ‘film’ was posted over the weekend. According to Entertainment Weekly, the star that got talked into joining Ghost Shark is 7th Heaven’s Mackenzie Rosman.

Deadline reports that Thomas Vitale, the network’s executive VP of programming and original movies, said that it’s an idea from his 7-year-old daughter and there’s a “logical reason” why there’s an undead shark roaming around that can materialize and water and on land.

Ghost Shark airs on Aug. 22. The network is probably hoping for another 1.3 million viewers at least, since that’s how many tuned in for SharkNado.

SharkNado was also a hit with celebrities who turned out in force on Twitter to make fun to its awful effects and cheesy dialogue. Hopefully more turn out for Ghost Shark.
