Talia Joy Castellano, the beautiful and inspiring young teen who became the face of Cover Girl following her informative makeup YouTube tutorials, has died at the age of 13.

Castellano lost her six year battle to cancer Tuesday, her family revealed on Facebook. “It is with a heavy heart that we share with all of you that Talia has earned her wings at 11:22am,” the heart wrenching post begins. “Please lift her beautiful soul, her beautiful light to heaven and please send your love and prayers to her family during this most difficult time. God speed little one, may you be free from pain and suffering, may your soul feel the light and love that you brought to so many of us on this Earth during the short time you were her with us. We will miss you more than you will ever know baby girl.”

Castellano made an impact on the world after becoming the face of Cover Girl compliments of both her YouTube tutorials and several appearances on The Ellen DeGeneres show.

DeGeneres has since posted her condolences on Twitter.

“This year I met a very special girl, and today we lost her. Sending my heart to Talia's family. I'm so sad,” she wrote.

Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus and Kendall Jenner have also reported tweeted their sorrows.

Castellano was diagnosed with neuroblastoma cancer at age seven, Daily Mail reports. This type of cancer develops in young infants and children’s nerve tissue. She battled the disease through rigorous chemotherapy and doctors visits and was dubbed cancer free for an entire year.

The cancer returned in 2008 and spread into a lymph node near her heart.

Thoughts and prayer got to her family.
