Jenelle Evans of Teen Mom 2 fame may have moved on from her estranged husband, but as her ex, Courtland Rogers, waits in jail for his trial date he’s preparing a defense that involves the reality star.
Back in April, the former couple was arrested for heroin possession and simple assault after they got into a violent domestic dispute and Rogers has been in jail ever since. Rogers has been held on possession, assault, intent to sell the drugs and having drug paraphernalia charges.
Cops found 12 bindles of heroin as well as drug paraphernalia in the house, and Evans has denied even knowing the drugs were in the house.
Now, RadarOnline reports that with his court date approaching, he’s going to testify that the drugs were hers.
“Courtland is planning to make sure his lawyer and the judge know that the drugs in the house were not his, they belonged to Jenelle ,” said a source. “His defense is going to be that they weren’t his drugs. He was already on probation and wasn’t going to risk anything for drugs. Jenelle is the one who brought the drugs into the house, she even had a rhinestone pipe that she was smoking out of.”
