The Game is back, and it’s just as good as the first half of the season. I can admit I just knew that I wouldn’t like this show without Derwin or Melonie but man its great. Along with some of the old cast there are some new faces that really help make this show worth watching.
Last week was the first episode of The Game’s return titled “The Busted Episode,” and that it was. Tasha Mack’s love triangle has finally been busted. She can no longer string along her fiancé’ and life long friend Marion a.k.a Pookie. Marion wants nothing to do with Tasha and her cheating ways despite her ploys to fix things its over.
The whole Chardonnay and Jason Pitts dynamic added to the show in my opinion is awesome. Jason’s new wife is often compared to his former wife Kelly. Jason is really upset with his Chardonnay for keeping the secret of Tasha’s infidelity with Rick Fox. Their arguments all seem to center around this big lie.
Lastly, Blue and Keira added to the show is a nice touch, they are new faces that add some youth. Keira was a child star in a family sitcom and Blue is the Sabers new superstar who unknowingly took Keira’s virginity.
Week Two
Despite Jason forbidding Chardonnay from seeing Tasha, the two still seem to find a way to get together at Chardonnay’s salon and spa. Tasha uses her Kelly comparisons to keep Chardonnay around and always has opinions about her marriage.
A big blow up in the salon helps Chardonnay rectify the whole situation. She bluntly tells her husband and so called friend that she is her own woman and can do as she pleases. She will be a career woman, take care of her wifely duties, and be friends with whomever she wants, and don’t except to hear those Kelly comparisons anytime soon.
Kiera and Blue are back at it again. Malik is on Blue’s side after finding out that Kiera never told him she was a virgin. After Keira and Malik have a little talk she realized that she should try to work things out with Blue. But only proves Malik right after calling Blue a few dozen times. Keira heads over to Blue’s condo after a night of drinking and throws up everywhere. He’s really the perfect gentleman and nurses her back to health. I really like these two together and I hope it works. We have to tune in next week to see.
