The reality of the situation is Dustin Zito, from MTV's "The Real World" was arrested in Louisiana Sunday for resisting a cop and sexual battery.
According to NBC affiliate KETK, on July 14 Zito, remained at Employees of the City Bar in Lafayette, La past closing time. After police were called to clear the crowd, a woman approached the officers stating Zito touched her in an inappropriate manner as she bent over a cigarette machine.
When the officers approached Zito, he allegedly refused to leave the bar. “[Zito] began to physically resist by pulling away from officer,” the police report, obtained by KETK, notes. “The subject also began to grab officer and pull officer to the ground as the struggle continued," says HuffingtonPost.
After pepper spray was utilized, Zito was taken into custody.
According to theadvertiser, Authorities noted Zito was “very intoxicated” and stated that “the female victim should be thankful that he reached up her dress since he is a TV star and several girls wish for that to happen to them.”
Zito's bond will be $26,000. According to the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office report, Zito was charged with sexual battery, resisting an officer with force/violence, remaining in places and disturbing the peace, says HuffingtonPost.
His court date was scheduled for today.
After the incident, Zito posted a screen grab photo recorded on a security camera. He accused the girl of "just getting face time."
