Tina Turner has tied the knot with longtime partner Erwin Bach in Switzerland in a civil ceremony, and the couple will celebrate with a Buddhist reception on Sunday.

A municipal official confirmed Wednesday that the 8-time Grammy winner, now a Swiss citizen, married the record producer at a registry office in Kuesnacht, a suburb of their home of Zurich.

A Kuesnacht official said the ceremony took place a “few days ago,” Reuters reports.

The celebration will take place at the couple’s mansion on Lake Zurich this coming weekend and will include a Buddhist water ceremony.

According to Digital Spy, Turner, 73, became engaged to Bach in April. They’ve lived together for years and met back in 1985.

Turner was famously involved with Ike Turner in the early stages of her career. They got divorced in 1978 after he physically abused her and he died of a cocaine overdose back in 2007.

She retired from touring after she wrapped her last tour in 2009.
