Tom Hanks’ son Colin Hanks and his wife, Samantha Bryant, have welcomed a baby girl this week. The couple is already parents to 2 year old Olivia Jane.
Hanks and Bryant, who have been married since 2010, welcomed baby Charlotte Hanks on Tuesday. They told People of her birth, “Ms. Charlotte Bryant Hanks has decided to join us. She’s as happy and healthy as we are overjoyed and tired.”
Hanks announced he and his wife were expecting their second child back in April while attending his dad’s Broadway premiere of Lucky Guy.
The actor, 35, joked of his parents, Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson, “They cannot wait to just dote on this kid with every single fiber of their being. My wife and I are more than happy to give them our baby and say, ‘Here, watch her while we take a nap!’”
USA Today notes Hanks has appeared in such shows as NCIS and Showtime’s Dexter.
