Bryan Cranston went from playing a brainiac’s father in “Malcolm In the Middle” to a meth producing science teacher in “Breaking Bad.” The show carefully develops each character while constantly engaging its viewers.

In the series Cranston plays Walter White, a man with a brilliant mind wasting his time teaching students who don’t understand the beauty of science.

Then Walter is diagnosed with terminal lung cancer. Determined to not leave his family in destitution, Walter teams up with former student/meth dealer, Jessie Pinkman (Aaron Paul). Walter also has a D.E.A brother-in-law that he must constantly avoid and manipulate.

The show revolves around Walt and Jessie, as they grow from peddling meth throughout the local neighborhoods of Albuquerque, to distributing their drug across the globe. In the process from becoming nobodies to big time drug lords, their moral foundation crumbles and who they were becomes a thing of the past. At the same time their friends, family, and loved ones are affected as well.

It’s a show with a simple premise that manages to keep viewers glued to the screen, as we can’t help but watch how the ethics of Walter and Jessie begin to blur and the how two eventually break bad….
