With the recent start of free agency in the NBA, many teams are vying for 27-year-old center Dwight Howard. Howard has already met with the Houston Rockets and will be meeting with other teams soon.

Sports Illustrated's Rob MaHoney says " If we look solely at basketball fit Houston is the definite option for Howard by way of an amenable offensive system." Even the Lakers think if Howard sticks to leaving for basketball reasons that his only destination should be Houston, according to the L.A Times.

The James Harden, Dwight Howard combination that could come together this 2013-14 season would be a force to be reckoned with. MaHoney also believes that Houston needs Howard way more then he needs them so other options will be explored, reports Sports Illustrated

With Golden State, Atlanta, The Lakers, and The Dallas Mavericks making room on their teams and in their budgets, only time will tell where Howard ends up. One can only hope he will go to a team where he will help them have a fair chance at the NBA finals.
