The day begins with the guests going on a horseback ride as they were instructed to do by the killer. As they are all out on the ride a group of birds flies up and scares the horses. At this point Ulysses slumps over on his horse which falls, and Ulysses falls off of it and dies.

Giles announces to everyone that they can start looking at clues at several different areas; an outdoor morgue that Lindsey, Dana, and Melina investigate. The victim’s last known whereabouts, which is the stables that Sasha, Ronny, and Cris check out. And finally Ulysses’ horse, which Geno and Kam look at.
Kam and Geno investigate the horse and find a red, white and black snake in Ulysses left saddlebag. They also notice that there’s a cage door that was rigged to a trip-wire that released the flock of birds that freaked out the horses.

While in the stables everyone notices that the horses were all named for Greek gods except for one named Oleander. Sasha notices oleanders near the horse’s home stable and remembers that they are poisonous flowers. Ronny & Cris notice that someone has ground up flowers in a spittoon with a mortar and pestle. They also notice a hammer and some finishing nails.

At the morgue the girls find two small punctures (like bite marks) on Ulysses lower right calf and a post with a list of poisonous and non- poisonous snakes & flowers. According to the post the snake that Geno and Kam saw in Ulysses saddle bag is non-poisonous, but the Oleander that Ronny, Cris and Sasha saw in the barn is poisonous.

As they break off into their respective groups to talk, Geno heads over to Kam’s group to offer one of them the opportunity to come join his group and they all three turn him down. Back over at Geno’s group when they all discuss the snake, Ronny and Sasha talk about a childhood riddle to determine if Ulysses snake was poisonous or not. Melina mentions the post at the morgue and says that the picture that she saw had no white on the snake, so Ulysses snake was poisonous.

Giles arrives with a riddle that sends the guests off into the woods. They end up finding some puzzle-maps where they must use pegs to see where the map takes them. Kam makes his way into a shack that’s filled with dozens of snakes. There’s a stool with a message that reads “place the murder weapon here.” One by one, the other guests attempt to find the murder weapon. Cris finds a floorboard with two bloody nails attached to it; she places it on the stool and finds out that it’s the murder weapon. Interestingly Melina, Sasha, and Dana are not shown going into the cabin.

The bell rings. The time comes for the guests to state their cases. One by one they leave the campfire to address the killer in the stables. Giles lets the guests know that the killer has Spared Cris and goes one to say how Ulysses was killed. The killer ground up poisonous Oleanders that were placed on the finishing nails. The killer used the wooden board with the nails to strike Ulysses in the leg, releasing the deadly poison into his system and killing him.

Spared Cards went to Ronny, Kam, Lindsey, and Melina, while Scared cards were given to Dana, Geno and Sasha. An argument breaks out between Sasha and Melina regarding the snake colors and Sasha feel like Melina set her up. The guests are informed that they must walk back to Rue Manor on foot. The next morning, Geno comes down the stairs to find the lifeless figures of Sasha and Dana by the piano.
