Shame
After living alone for the past two seasons, Ryan gets a roommate after Jenna offers him $1000 for dog-sitting Wilfred when she receives his final notice on his late mortgage payment in her mail. Ryan turns Wilfred’s upstairs filthy bachelor pad into a clean living space and finds the perfect roommate.
As he’s celebrating his victory, a sweaty, disgusting girl named Anne, played by Kristen Schaal from ’30 Rock,’ enters Ryan’s home and asks if the room is taken. When he says that it is, she becomes upset and tells Ryan about her horrible month. She leaves, but naturally Wilfred prefers her to the clean roommate that would move in.
Ryan comes home to find Anne sitting on his couch. Wilfred emailed her the lease and she paid $3000 up front. Wilfred convinces Ryan to give her a chance, but Ryan is revolted to find out that the “small internet business” that she runs is her eating food on a webcam for people with fetishes online.
Meanwhile, Wilfred sabotages Ryan’s interview with a law firm and becomes fat from eating the food that Anne drops around the house and on her bed sheets. He becomes so fat that he dips a fake tongue on a stick and uses it to lick himself in places he can’t reach anymore.
Ryan finally loses his temper after putting up with Anne for two weeks and tells her that the moment he walked into the house he knew he didn’t want her as a roommate. She cleans up her act and gets a job, but isn’t happy. Wilfred tells Ryan to accept Anne for who she is and to stop shaming himself for his problems. Ryan decides to keep Anne as a roommate.
