One of David Schwimmer’s new neighbors is apparently not a fan of Ross. The former Friends star is moving into a new townhouse in New York and a graffiti message appeared on plywood near the home calling him “not cool.”

The blog EV Grieve first posted the photo of the graffiti, left there by an unknown individual. It simply reads “Ross Is Not Cool.” A resident across the street thankfully took a picture, since the words have already been painted over.

According to The Huffington Post, East Village residents have not been happy with Schwimmer lately, so this goes beyond a hatred for Ross Geller. The New York Post reports that the purchased the five-story 1852 townhouse property in 2010 for $4.1 million and then angered residents by tearing down the home after he was told the building would get landmark status at the end of 2012.

That sparked other messages, such as “The destruction of an irreplaceable historic building for what???” and “F--k you + your uglyness.”

Schwimmer is the voice of Melman in the Madagascar franchise and has recently appeared in The Iceman and Web Therapy. As Us Weekly notes, he and his wife Zoe Buckman, are the parents of Cleo, who was born in May 2011.
