Alec Baldwin and Hilaria Thomas welcomed their first daughter together Friday.
The proud new mother announced her daughter’s name on Twtter following the birth writing, “We are overjoyed to announce the birth of our daughter Carmen Gabriela. She is absolutely perfect. @ABFalecbaldwin @IrelandBBaldwin.”
The 30 Rock actor was spotted at New York's Mount Sinai Hospital Friday causing many to speculate if Thomas as in fact in labor. E! News reports that Baldwin was seen with friends at the hospital yesterday afternoon unloading a slew of luggage.
Thomas, a yoga instructor, revealed that the couple were expecting a daughter back in March tweeting at the time, “So happy about our little girl! Thank you all for the happy wishes xoxo.”
Baldwin and Thomas have no revealed any details regarding the birth of their daughter. The couple announced they were expecting earlier this year. Baldwin and Thomas wed in June 2012.
Carmen joins Baldwin’s oldest daughter, Ireland. Her mother is actress Kim Basinger.
