Amanda Bynes’ mother Lynn has been granted temporary custody of her daughter just moments after the actress was ordered to stay in a psychiatric hospital for an additional 30 days.

People reports that Judge Glenn M. Reiser agreed with the doctors findings “of her lack of capacity to give consent for medical care” and also agreed that the former Nickelodeon star would be best taken care of if her mother Lynn had legal control of her personal and financial wellbeing.

Bynes’ attorney, Mary Shea, proclaimed that her client "oppose and object [to the conservatorship]. She doesn't feel there's a need."
After Bynes was admitted to the hospital on 72-hour psychiatric hold after setting fire to a strangers driveway in California, Byne’s parents proclaimed that their daughter is “paranoid” and spending money on frivolous things. As we previously reported, a judge extended Bynes stay once again, this time for an additional 30 days.

The judge notes that he wants to be able to speak face-to-face with the Easy A actress before granting her exit from the facility.
Bynes did not appear in court today as she was not feeling well.

Lynn's conservatorship is effective until September 30 where she will have to revisit the issue.
