Troubled actress Amanda Bynes will appear in court Friday to discuss her chances of leaving the psychiatric hospital where she has been staying for two weeks.

TMZ reports that Bynes’ parents will appear in court tomorrow to discuss their petition for conservatorship. If the judge rules in their favor, the conservatorship will be temporary, and will hold until September 30.

According to the report, Bynes will travel by bus to the courthouse where she will speak to the judge face-to-face so the judge can further establish her mental state. TMZ notes that Bynes’ parents will ask that her daughter will return to the hospital for further diagnosing.

The Amanda Show actress was placed on a 5150 psychiatric hold after setting fire to a Thousand Oaks, Calif. Driveway. The judge then ordered to extend the hold to two weeks to allow doctors to better diagnose her. Previous reports suggest that Bynes is doing well in the hospital after taking proper medication.
Updates will follow after tomorrow’s court appearance.
