Amanda Bynes is on the move, but the troubled actress will still be under the watchful eye of her doctors. She’s transferring to the UCLA Medical Center today.

According to RadarOnline, Amanda’s mother, Lynn Bynes, decided that it would be best for her daughter to be moved there. “Lynn wants Amanda in a more private facility. It could happen as soon as this week. She will get better care at a private facility,” a source told the site earlier this week.

TMZ adds that UCLA Medical Center is known for having one of the best psych facilities in the U.S. She could have been moved earlier, but a room wasn’t available until today.

Lynn was given temporary conservatorship last week, allowing her to handle her daughter’s finances and overall well-being.

Bynes has been hospitalized since July 23 and was initially placed on a 5150 hold for 72 hours. But doctors got a judge to extend that and last week, it was extended again for 30 days. The Easy A actress is reportedly being treated for schizophrenia.
