Following Zayn Malick’s recent engagement to singer Perrie Edwards, could his fellow One Direction bandmate also be engaged?
Another One Direction couple, Louis Tomlinson and Eleanor Calder, have been together for two years and it was rumored that they were also engaged after Malick and Edwards’ surprise engagement this week.
Tomlinson’s sister, Felicity, however, cleared up the rumors at the This Is Us premiere, saying they weren’t engaged.
“No, I don’t think so, at least I’ve not heard anything," she told reporters, Entertainmentwise reports.
Tomlinson recently opened up about his relationship with Calder, telling Fabulous magazine “It hasn’t been easy at times. She gets pretty intimidated by it all. I mean, who wouldn’t? She can’t have Twitter or anything like that. At first, I was like, ‘Just chill out a bit, it’s fine’ but now I understand where she’s coming from."
He added, “I can’t expect her to deal with some of the stuff so easily. But with that said, I couldn’t be happier with her. Things really bother me when they upset my family or Eleanor," he explained. “I think I’m quite thick-skinned but if you’re going to do or say that, f*** you.”
