Former High School Musical star Ashley Tisdale is showing off her engagement ring after getting engaged to Christopher French.
Right after French proposed in New York City on top of the Empire State Building on Aug. 8, she took to Twitter to express her excitement.

“Thank you guys for all your well wishes. Means so much to me. We're so grateful and excited. #imthehappiestgirlintheworld,” she later added.
People reports Tisdale, 28, showed off her ring at Wednesday’s InStyle summer soiree event in Los Angeles. It’s a huge cushion-cut diamond with smaller diamonds surrounding the center one. It’s on a diamond and platinum band. She also accessorized her engagement ring with a gold band on the same finger.
Tisdale and her rocker fiancé have been dating for less than a year – they first came out publicly as a couple in December 2012 -- and she previously dated music video director Scott Speer for two years.
Tisdale has previously described her type of guy as a “dark, mysterious bad boy.” She also told Maxim in May that she’s “definitely old-school when it comes to dating."
