Billy Ray Cyrus is speaking out after his daughter Miley Cyrus’ highly-talked about Video Music Awards performance, saying she’s still his “little girl.”
He admitted after sexualized performance, in which she twerked on the stage and on “Blurred Lines” singer, Robin Thicke,” that he stills supports her.
"Of course I'll always be here for Miley. Can't wait to see her when she gets home," he told ET. "She's still my little girl and I'm still her Dad regardless how this circus we call show business plays out. I love her unconditionally and that will never change."
Back in 2011, the “Achy Breaky Heart” singer, who has split twice from Miley’s mom, Tish Cyrus, and got back together with her, told GQ he was “scared for her.”
She was 18 at the time, but Billy Ray said "She's got a lot of people around her that's putting her in a great deal of danger.”
He also said of the show Hannah Montana that it "destroyed my family...the damn show destroyed my family...It's all sad."
