Reports that Bruce Willis would not return to reprise his role as Church in The Expendables 3 surfaced earlier this week. Now it is being reported that Willis’ snub comes after the actor demanded $4 million to film the third installment.

According to Daily Mail, Willis’ role would only take 4 days to shoot, meaning Willis’ was demanding $1 million per day.

“He said he'd drop out unless he got $4 million," a source close to production tells The Hollywood Reporter.

The news of Willis’ high demands doesn’t come as a surface after Expendables writer and actor Sylvester Stallone released a heavy worded tweet slamming Willis for being “greedy and lazy”.

Willis has since been replaced by Harrison Ford, a decision Stallone has celebrated. “Willis out…Harrison Ford in!!! Great news!!! Been waiting years for this!!!!” he tweeted Tuesday.

The Expendables 3 will also see the addition of Jackie Chan, Wesley Snipes and Milla Jovovich.
