Always depicted as a bad boy, Joe Jonas is turning his image 180 degrees by volunteering for the Me to We 8-day volunteer trip to Kenya!
He was put in the rural area of Maasai Mara and was able to experience what it’s like being a local. Apart from just residing there, Jonas also volunteered to help build local schools, interacting with the school children, learning Swahili and participated in many traditional activities.
Him and his brothers have been supporting Free the Children for many years now and this fall, they will be playing at a youth empowerment event, We Day Minnesota.
Jonas states, “I’ve never been to Kenya before. Experiencing it for the first time with Me to We and Free The Children provided me with a new perspective. I was able to see first-hand the value and role education plays in the lives of children. In fact, my brothers and I will have a special message to share with our fans while we are on tour this year.” So keep a close eye, fans! Maybe you’ll be able to hear that special message...
