Chris Brown managed to turn himself into jail a day earlier than he had to for his hit-and-run case without any photographers present, although they were all there that same day when 50 Cent went to court.

Brown and his lawyer, Mark Geragos, pulled a fast one on the media as when 50 Cent left the courthouse on Monday, which is connected to the jail, the cameras left as well and that’s when the “Fine China” singer was booked.

According to TMZ, it took about 45 minutes for Brown to get book and then released, without posting bail.

Brown is due back in court on Aug. 15 for giving his hit-and-run victim the wrong identification and insurance information.

Starpulse reports Brown has tweeted about the incident, saying “I have a valid drivers [sic] license and I gave the woman the right info. She saw cameras and wanted to make a scene. She contacted the cops thinking of a payday from Chris Brown when I followed the proper procedures."

In other Brown news, he sent out a cryptic tweet that hinted he will be retiring from music after his latest album X.
