Here’s our daily wrap of all things for Tuesday August 27th:

Hunger Games fans are constantly waiting to hear news of which actors are going to play their favorite characters in the upcoming movies and the wait to discover who will be playing fan favorite Annie Cresta is finally over. Lionsgate announced Monday that newcomer Stef Dawson will be playing Cresta, love interest of another fan favorite Finnick Odair who is played by Sam Claflin. Dawson will appear in both Mockingjay 1& 2 which are set to premiere November 21, 2014 and November 20, 2015.

Khloe Kardashian-Odom and Lamar Odom have reportedly separated after news broke last week of Odom’s cocaine addiction. Kardashian and family reportedly held an intervention for Odom last week but when he refused to go to rehab Khloe kicked him out of the house. Even though things are a bit rocky for the couple, Khloe still has high hopes for their marriage.

The VMA’s were this past Sunday and they were eventful as ever. What most are talking about is the controversial performance by Miley Cyrus. Cyrus performed her new hit song “We Can’t Stop” complete with twerking and sticking her tongue out. Then when we thought it was over, Robin Thicke joined Cyrus on stage and the two sung “Blurred Lines.” After the performance many people have asked Miley to stop or go to rehab but one of our own writers thinks we should leave the pop star alone. Things have quieted down for the royal family since Kate gave birth to George last month but now a book is set to release this fall dedicated to the Duchess of Cambridge. The book Kate: The Future Queen will contain never before heard information, coming from sources close to Kate. Even though the royal couple hasn’t been married long, there are two biographies about the Duchess being released. Is there more to Kate and the royal family then what we’ve seen?
